In my latest blog post, I've been exploring the impact that professionalism has had on world rugby. It's clear that the shift has brought significant improvements, including better training, improved player welfare and increased financial stability for the sport. However, some argue it has also led to a loss of the sport's original community spirit and increased pressure on players. It's a complex issue, but on balance, I believe the change to professionalism has been beneficial for world rugby.
